Why I chose photography
When I was a teenager, I eagerly dreamed of my 15th birthday. It was like a rite of passage, a transition to the next phase of life, so anticipated and full of expectations. In Brazil, the equivalent of the "sweet 16", this moment was marked not only by the party but also by the debutante's photo shoot. That was the part that enchanted me the most; I spent hours browsing the internet for references, imagining each pose, each scene, each detail.
I vividly remember the day when my turn finally came. I was radiant, full of energy and enthusiasm. As I got ready, something stirred within me, something that I only fully understood three years later: an unconditional love for the art of photographing women.
At 18, I decided to take some time before making definitive decisions about my career. I wanted to explore what I hadn't had time for while balancing studies and, later, college. That's when photography entered my life more deeply. I invested in a six-month practical course to learn the fundamental techniques, initially just as a hobby.
However, my first contact with female portrait photography was enough to ignite something within me. It was love at first sight. Since 2014, I haven't stopped capturing the essence and beauty of women through my lens. I explored various niches in photography: products, commercial, families, newborns, weddings... But it was in intimate couple shoots that I discovered a new depth to my passion for photography.
Each click became a form of expression, a way to convey emotion and tell stories. Through my photographs, I seek not only to capture moments but also to create memories that will last forever. And so, I found my purpose in the art of immortalizing feminine beauty and authenticity, sharing emotions through each captured image.
